Hello, My fiance and I bought a hot tub from the Beaverton Location. Since Hot Tubs are a expensive investment we wanted to make sure the quality was there along with the customer service. Jim was the person who helped us out on the floor room and got us the hot tub we wanted. When the hot tub was delivered it was the wrong hot tub. They let us keep the hot tub until the new one was ready “made right here in Oregon”! We enjoyed the hot tub and when the new one came it was correct and without any hassles or fees they got us the one we originally wanted! Thanks Jim and team MARQUIS! We love our hot tub!

Appreciate your time today. We were definitively shopping for the right tub for us and you helped us find it. One thing that both Julie and I would personally like to thank you for is listening. Granted, you are a great conversationalist, but the things that we discussed together were engaging, fun, and had substance. Personally you created a fun learning experience, and most important all was relevant to our experience. We visited 3 other Spa manufactures today and in 2 of the 3 visits, the sales person had their own agenda. You are our forth visit and with one agenda, to put yourself in our shoes by listening.
Granted the 2015 Marquis Spirit with Microsilk technology is right for us because of the jet configuration and we felt it would provide us with the therapy we are seeking.
But the things we are also excited about with our experience with Marquis is you are employee owned, which translates to lower overhead and more competitive prices. Also you are made in Oregon, which is just plain cool and we feel really good about helping grow Oregon’s manufacturing economy (as we are both natives to Oregon all our lives).
Thank you for taking the time to answer all our questions about the 2015 Marquis Spirit.
You are very seasoned professional with a ton of experience and don’t change a thing with your sales style, it’s perfect.
I hope you take that as a win from us, please keep doing what you’re doing as we really enjoyed it and you will help a lot of people here in the near future. Which is what life is all about.

We have owned our Marquis Spa for years. Whenever we need anything the guys at the Beaverton store are more than willing to spend the time answering all of our questions. They are knowledgeable and very professional. We happily recommend Marquis Spas.

Happy With My Purchase
I have owned a Marquis Spas U530 since Nov 2005. From the start Marquis showed excellent sales staff with non-pressure presentation at a sales event at Volcanoes Stadium. It was delivered on time and set up was a breeze. Maintenance is very easy and no fuss with the “Frog” system. Upkeep is also easy and it also keeps my spa ready to go. The test strips for chemicals are quick and definitive. Everything is very “user-friendly, the owner’s manual gives easy to follow instructions and a great troubleshooting section. Our costs of running it year round is about $1.25 a day using the “smart cleaning” system at filtering every 4hrs in the high usage and once a day during low usage. An added plus is we get 10% discount on supplies and accessories. I have a lot of confidence in the company being local and I have a store minutes away from my home.

Thrilled With My Epic
I have been wanting a hot tub my entire adult life so when the time finally came, I did two months of research to find the best brand, the best model, and the best dealership and landed at Marquis in Beaverton and the purchase of a marquis EPIC. It took two months to sift through the sea of misinformation and marketing ploys by so many hot tub brands! Locally, I found dealerships with great people, and OK spas, and some with good spas, but used-car type sales people, or sales people that weren’t very helpful or knowledgeable. I am 100% thrilled with my tub and the whole buying experience and after-the-sale experience. Couldn’t be happier! I’ve waited so long and this is everything I’d hope it would be so THANKYOU Marquis! Thank you, Van, Jim and Tom! Loving my spa!

First Hot Tub
We recently bought our first hot tub, and we are so glad that we listened to our friends and went to Marquis. Van was our salesperson and he answered our MANY questions. He worked hard to make sure we got exactly what we wanted at a fair price. I will be the one to recommend Marquis to our friends in the future!

Enjoying After 10 Years
We’ve had our spa for almost 10 years and continue to enjoy it year round. Still buy all our consumables (bromine, filters, etc.) from them and find the staff to be very courteous and helpful. We’ve had a few service calls for minor things and those have been quick and thorough jobs. The only comment I would make is if you are attempting to do repairs yourself, make sure to talk to one of the field techs. My experience with the staff in the showroom describing the repair process to me hasn’t been effective and has twice been contradictory to what I eventually saw/heard from the field tech when he did the fix.

We had looked all over for a hot tub and probably visited 10 establishments before visiting Marquis. We immediately liked the product and the salesman wasn’t too pushy compared to other places. We actually ended up getting a great deal on one of their floor models, Marquis Promise, and have been thankful ever since. Marquis makes a great product and has a sweet warranty. There is nothing like our hot tub to relax the muscles after a day of hard work. This location also has comparable prices to online for supplies and chemicals which is nice so you can get it now with no shipping and no upcharge….excellent!

Marquis Spirit Model
After four months of ownership, we could not be happier with our Marquis Spa. We shopped around and “wet tested” five other local dealers and decided to go with the Marquis Spirit model. It’s perfect for my wife and I. The quality on these units cannot be beat, and the fact that these spas are made right here in Oregon sealed the deal for us. Make sure to get the ozone & spa frog system, very low in chemicals and very easy maintenance!

Great customer service. Great Oregon made spas. Very enjoyable experience every time we use our spa.
Love Our Marquis Hot Tub
Love the help and attention we got here when deciding on a spa for home. Tim was very helpful in showing the different features and explaining the differences between the different models. We had been shopping for a spa for about 2 years trying to find the right fit for our needs and the area we have to put it in. Marquis Spas are quality built and you can tell the difference between their spas and some of the other “cheaper” models out there. We got a great deal and are looking forward to years of enjoyment with our new spa.

How Did We Live Without A Spa
How did we live without a spa for so long!
We purchased our spa in December and are in it as much as possible. After researching some of the different manufactures we landed on Marquis. We purchased their “Reward” model and waited a bit for the 2013 model so we could take advantage of their new bluetooth technology to listen to music through our ipad with no cords needed directly into the spa. At the beginning it was a little difficult to get the chemicals just right. I think we have it down now and made it part of a routine.
To the spa…we got one with a lounger which is great, but probably my favorite part is the power you get from the jets. I thought it may be weak when multiple zones were running but it has been amazing. Looking up at the stars, with a cold drink, and the jets bubbling around you is a great way to end a day!
We had some challenges with the delivery and the timing but everything was worked out. The store manager was nice enough to give store credit or a our first spa cleaning for free to make up for the delay. This was not an inexpensive purchase but so far well worth the investment.

We bought a Marquis Epic and also got a small step, larger storage step, corner step and a 2 compartment cabinet that they had to custom size due to the support bracket on our hydraulic cover lifter.
Bottom line is we love the tub, much nicer than my first tub. Basically 2 loungers, which we wanted, 3 seats at different elevation for cooling off a little, 2 monster jets that make my wife make great noises when she puts her feet up against them. The controls are nice. One great thing is in addition to the 2 different 3 way valves almost every jet can be manually turned off or on, so if it’s just the 2 of us, we can direct each pump to only a hand full of jets if we want, or if 4-5 in the tub, more jets can be opened for the other people. The ability to turn each pump on low or hi from each lounger is also a nice feature. The hydraulic cover lifter is nice, wife does not even grunt when lifting the cover.
All in all, we are very happy with the quality, design and features of this tub. Thought I would share in case anybody is interested.

We Love Our Spa
I did a LOT of research on the different types of spas that were available. I learned that it’s very easy to get confused when comparing spas based on technical things – everybody says their spas are the best, and they all have lots of differing evidence to back it up. But throughout the forum, two criteria stood out: how good I felt wet testing the spa, and brand/store reliability.
Fundamental Criteria: Brand/Store Reliability I found that the top spa brands were: Hot Springs, Dimension One, Marquis, and Sundance. I also found one other that I thought I was going to wet test, but then I looked up their local store in BBB, and quickly decided not to. I also decided against Sundance because I wanted a dealer that specialized in their spas – not a plumbing store.
Fundamental Criteria: WET TEST IS ESSENTIAL! My wife and I wet tested La Spas, Coleman, Hot Springs, Caldera, Marquis, and Dimension 1. The Marquis Epic was the only one that both my wife and I were happy with. I believe this is primarily due to the Epic’s ability to have 40gpm jets in specific areas. Smaller jets made our skin feel itchy, and when all jets were on us at the same time, we felt like we were getting pounded and blown out of our seats. The Epic solved both these problems with Tri-zone 40gpm jets. The larger gpm jets really got into our muscles, and the tri-zone didn’t blow us out of our seats. One other thing that became an absolute necessity for me after trying the Epic: Hamstring Jets! That narrowed down our choice list fast – not many spas have those jets.
After wet testing, I also found that I liked a shallower tub. The Epic is one of the shallowest tubs we tried, and I found I really liked it. I get overheated quickly, and having the water come up to my neck isn’t good for me. It also fit through our narrow gate!
My experience at Marquis: Both my wife and I liked our salesman. He was informative and friendly, but most importantly, he was NOT: pushy, condescending, secretive, or clearly blowing smoke. I don’t feel that I got taken, and we love the spa we chose! Van was also very helpful in our quest to prepare for the spa. He told us all the options we could use for a spa pad, and when we decided on crushed rock, he was very helpful in helping me design it. I feel very good about my purchase. I know my dealer and Marquis will stand behind us with any problems we have, and I know we got the right spa. That feeling alone is worth a lot.
